Our founder, Anthony M. Tourtellot, first opened his doors in the Providence Terminal Market in 1884.  Among the oldest, continuously operating wholesale distributors in the United States, we have been a leader in the New England produce marketplace, serving national, regional, and local accounts.

 Since 1956, the legacy of Tourtellot has been carried on by the Sigal family; first by Irving and now by his three children: Andrew, Jamie, and Steven.

 

To this day, Tourtellot continues to uphold Irving’s passion for fresh produce and commitment to relationship-driven business.
